Terms and Conditions for Art Commissions
Welcome to my art commissions! Before proceeding with a commission request, please read the following terms and conditions carefully to ensure a smooth and satisfactory experience for both parties.
1 Commission Process:
1.1. The client must get in touch with me through the designated communication channels to request a commission.
1.2. The commission will be considered confirmed only after the client agrees to the terms and conditions and provides an upfront payment of at least 50% of the total cost.
2 Payment:
2.1. Payment can be made through the agreed-upon methods during the initial negotiation.
2.2. The commission will commence upon receipt of the upfront payment.
2.3. The remaining balance must be paid before the final delivery of the artwork.
2.4. Payments will be made only by PayPal
3 Delivery Timeline:
3.1. The delivery timeline for the commission will be 1 to 2 weeks from the date of commission confirmation and receipt of the upfront payment;
3.2. If any unforeseen circumstances cause a delay in delivery, the client will be duly informed.
4 Alterations and Revisions:
4.1. The client will have the opportunity to request alterations and revisions during the sketching and thumbnail stages.
4.2. Additional alterations and revisions beyond the mentioned stages will be accepted but will incur an extra cost based on the additional working time required.
5 Copyrights:
5.1. The artist (myself) retains the copyrights to the commissioned artwork unless a prior agreement to purchase the rights is made between the parties.
5.2. The client may use the commissioned artwork for personal purposes but may not reproduce, sell, or use it for commercial purposes without prior authorization from the artist.
5.3. The artist may use the commissioned artwork in their portfolio, social media, and promotional materials, while maintaining the client's anonymity if requested.
6 Additional Conditions:
6.1. Specific cases not covered in these terms and conditions will be discussed on an individual basis to ensure mutual satisfaction.
6.2. In the event of disrespect or inappropriate behavior from the client, the artist reserves the right to cancel the commission.
